Thank you for visiting the Avelar Energy Group website. Avelar was founded in December 2006 with the aim of building two businesses

• a vertically integrated energy company; and
• a leading European renewable energy business focusing on solar and wind energy.

In the last 18 months we have acquired numerous companies, assets, and projects in the fields of power and gas trading, power and gas retail, power generation, gas storage, and renewable energy projects. Also, we entered into several strategic agreements to support our business strategy.

In developing our strategy, we are very fortunate to have access to the resources and the experience of our largest shareholder, Renova Group. Renova Group is one of the most important energy players in Russia, operating in the areas of oil and gas, coal, power generation and retail energy distribution.
